Sciton Erbium

Sciton® Erbium laser resurfacing uses the Sciton® Erbium laser to direct a 2940 nm computer-controlled laser beam across the surface of the skin in order to even out skin tone and erase visible skin damage that has occurred, such as wrinkles and scars.

The Sciton® Erbium laser is the most sophisticated surgical laser available for this purpose and it consistently delivers some of the best results available. Since it is computer controlled, patients receive precise and maximum results. Three treatment levels are available: superficial, fractional, and deep. The treatment level used depends upon the degree of resurfacing required.

By using a computer-controlled laser beam, the provider can pinpoint the specific area or areas that need to be resurfaced and yet leave the surrounding tissue untouched. This procedure facilitates rapid recovery while providing optimal results to the patient.
